Two cities where he would’ve had to shoulder the weight of a city and a team. In that respect, he will never live up to the likes of Michael Jordan, or even Kobe Bryant for that matter. He will now forever be Wade’s #2 man and where Wade will have two, three, four, five rings? LeBron will have only one, two, three, four rings. He chose to live in the shadow of Dwyane Wade in Miami over trying to break out of the shadow of Jordan in Chicago. He chose to abdicate his self-proclaimed “throne” in the Cleveland and bypass the hardwood in Madison Square Garden for the sands of South Beach. He could’ve worked for it, he could’ve earned it. He could’ve truly won, but where others will “win”, James will only help to win. At the crossroads in his lifetime, everyone will be +WITNESSES+ to the fact that he, the “CHOSEN 1”, he “King James”, didn’t fight for his trophy.
On a less philosophical note, I am rather interested in seeing what will become of the Miami Heat roster. With Beasley going to Minnesota, they don’t even have enough people to fill a fucking roster. These niggas are on some whole other shit.
